Hi, I've gotten almost everything compiling properly, but I'm still getting
the 'ostream' : ambiguous symbol error. (I'm pretty sure that I have
installed stlport.) It actually seems to not like some of the header files

I suppose you try to compile FreeCAD under Windows with MSDev6.
Make sure that in your IDE under Tools->Options->Directories->Include Files
the first entry is the path of the STLport. This is very important,
otherwise the comiler's STL
is used instead.
Another reason could be that your stl_user_config.h (of your STLport) has
