I was pointed to your small and handy app by someone on the Garmin forums. I gave up on Windoze over a year ago when XP was no longer supported and it took me over three hours to install Win 7. Had Ubuntu 12.04 installed in 32 minutes.
Oleg, I hope I can say that this is a great simple command line package for my needs.
Unfortunately I get the same error as one of the other comments here.
When I run ./frant -p
I receive the following error... Error opening serial port '/dev/ttyUSB0'
Taking away something from the other user I ran an lsusb
The ANT device provided with my Garmin Forerunner 310XT is by Dynastream Innovations Inc.
And it tells me the following:
Bus 004 Device 003: ID 0fcf:1009 Dynastream Innovations Inc.
What could you suggest I try to get frant to find my device?
William

I think you have new type USB-stick, but old kernel. I resolved same problem
with my new FR310XT by upgrading linux kernel.
What output you see when trying 'lsusb' command ?
New type of stick looks like this:
Bus 002 Device 006: ID 0fcf:1008 Dynastream Innovations, Inc. ANTUSB2 Stick
