  • This app is nice as well as fast.But here is a bug:At coordinate:Real:-2,Imaginary:0 Size:1e-16 of Mandelbrot z=z^2+c,the fractal becomes invisible though I use the Purturbation Theory.I hope it would be solved soon.I speculate that the early termination of ref calculation may be due to its derivative being too small.

    Hello and thank you for the review. The problem is due to the bailout value. During the perturbation calculation the first calculation of z will be evaluated as -2 because we are adding -2 and a value in the neighborhood of 1e-18. This is because of a rounding error. After this calculation we will have to rebase and start over, but since the bailout check for |z| >= 2 will be right after, the calculation will terminate without the rebase being used. The work-around is to set the bailout value to 2.00001.
