Simple Setup

Congratulations on downloading the most recent version of FPLM Link Shortener. One of FPLM's special features is its super easy setup. This will take under 5 minutes, depending on your internet connection.

You will need:
• PHP v5.3 or higher
• mySQL v5.1 or higher
• The creditentials for the mySQL database

Step One:

Download and extract the archive into your web server. Make sure your server has all the requirements available.

Step Two:

Go to the directory where FPLM has been extracted. Open install.php and input all the required points. Make sure "Do Not Install Database" is unchecked. If this is a fresh install, make sure "Create Databse if Not Exists" is checked. Click "Install".
*** Note: Enabling Captcha makes the pages render wrong. Turn on at your own discretion. ***

Step Three:

Copy the code from the next page into the "create.php" and ".htaccess" files.
