Foxtrot is a small and powerful API for using threads with the Java(TM) Foundation Classes (JFC/Swing) and with Java Web Start.
It is based on a new concept, the Synchronous Model, that greatly increases ease of use.

User Reviews

  • Real dancers know Foxtrot! :) Thank you a lot!
  • Fast and easy to use, makes you forget the terrible library (now in Java 7) swingworker. The possibility given by the synchronous model are outstanding. The certainty that the program remains in wait until the end of the swing thread. In swingworker is a nightmare. The use for years and all the products that I wrote using it successfully. Then if you want an asynchronous model provides the foxtrot. Outstanding! Should be proposed for inclusion in the standard distribution version of java!
