When I installed FoxServ 1.0 a few months ago I was
stoked. It installed fast and easy.
The other day though after my daily reboot I tried to
start FoxServ and the apache dos window opened. It
said something to the effect: error on line 770 in
httpd.conf
can not load C:\FoxServ\php\sapi\php4apache.dll
a library can not be found on the system.
The dos window then has a 30 second counter that
expires and closes the dos window and shuts down
apache.
What is MOST peculiar about this is that the day
before everything came up and started running fine.
The next day crappola. Nothing on my box changed
overnight unless I suffered a hack.
I went into httpd.conf and commented out the string on
line 770 and apache now runs fine but it is not
loading the PHP libraries and not "joining up" with
the MySQL db engine as a result. So by commenting out
this line I defeat the db engine loading.
What could possibly have changed overnight to make
this happen?
Also...I have now installed the FoxServ Beta 2.0 and
am getting a similar error just on a different line.
waaaaaah... someone please some insight into this
