I installed 4pane in ubuntu 20.04 (fresh install) with sudo apt install 4pane. The installed version is: 6.0. I have not done any manual configuration changes to it.

When doing either the drag-n-move or drag-n-copy movements there's a circle with diagonal line showing (symbol for not working I assume) together with the "copy" or the "move" symbol.

Not sure what's going on here. I've attached a picture.
*On Ubuntu 19 I know there could be a bug on the default ubuntu file manager for drag-n-move/drop but it works fine on 20.04. *

Not sure why the picture got rotated but you get the gist. LMK if there are any logs to retrieve etc that could help you to understand this issue.

    'It's not a bug, it's a feature' ;)

What you are seeing is, as you said, the Move (or Copy) symbol, together with the symbol for 'You can't drop there'. That's because you aren't hovering over a filename.

If you move the mouse over a file or directory name, you will see that the 'Not here' symbol changes to a hand with a finger pointing. See https://www.4pane.co.uk/manual/DnD.htm for more information and images.

Not sure how to close the ticket. Maybe only you/Admin can do that? Please go ahead and close it.
