User Reviews

  • This is a great file manager. Very similar to FreeCommander on Windows - it helps a lot with the transition from Windows.
  • Having come over from a Windows environment I have sorely missed the plethora of File Managers available for Windows. All the Linux-based managers seemed to pale in comparison. 4Pane is the first Linux File Manager that I can say I'm enthusiastic about. Some of that may be due to the fact that its format is more similar to a Windows File Manager but I also find its range of features and customization wonderful. Can't wait for the next update!
