We proudly announce the release 1.2.3 of the V-Modell XT Projektassistent. After a complete overhaul of its graphical user interface, the assistant is now more fun to use. As the most prominent change, it now offers a much better way to generate product templates using a set of predefined boilerplates.

Together with the fresh release 1.2 of the german standard V-Modell XT on February 1st, 2006, we released new versions of the corresponding tools. Export to HTML and PDF as well as the overall stability of the software packages have been vastly improved.

The V-Modell XT Projektassistent is the reference implementation of the tailoring mechanism of the V-Modell XT, the german standard for system development processes. It is based on the 4Ever framework to provide a common platform for interacting with the V-Modell data model. Please feel free to participate in this project and incorporate your own ideas.

Version 3.0.3 of the 4Ever framework was today happily released to the public. A lot of effort was taken to make the framework understandable and usable for all different kind of purposes. Moreover, 4Ever is used within the tool-suite of the V-Modell XT (http://www.v-modell-xt.de/). Those tools will be available at his project site shortly.
