I'm working on the true alpha version of the racing engine and it's turning out to be about 3 times as long, but much more efficient. I haven't got a workingbuild going yet, right nowI'm just adding all the bells and whistles. Hopefully will have the running alpha up by the end of february.
I've fiinally put up the generic starting racing engine. It's absolutely without comments and is basically a hacked together set of features to run numbers through. I'll be making some big changes to the whole system though, so I wouldn;t count on this as anything other than a toy for general amusement.
I doubt anyone has been following this project, but just in case you are, here's an update. I've totally restructured the base of the program and am almost finished with the prototype design template. I'm hoping to have the prototype racing engine up before the end of the year.
Been running into some problems with base algorithms for racing, still beating on the alpha, it's too ugly to post yet.
Spent some time working on the alpha version of the race calculation engine. Cose is nasty as hell, so I'm rewriting it again. Sorry for the delay in getting it out to you, although I'm not sure if anyone but me actually cares.
We officially being the formula manager development tree. We're still in the planning stages, although I intend on having an alpha-esque version of the actual race engine working by 4/20/02.
