using example Bookstore/index.html, with IE 6 SP2 or with Firefox 1.5.0.10 , formfaces takes no care of constraints . Event messages are not fired.

Looking at the javascript console in firefox, found error :

Erreur : Propriété « filter » inconnue. Déclaration abandonnée.

In english something like
"filter" property unknown .
