It is a pleasure for us to announce the newest release of formconv, the free general purpose command line formula converter (and evaluator) tool and C/C++ library. After 4 years of development and testing we proudly release version 0.9.0 which can parse intuitive, LISP and MathML formats and outputs various CAS (including Mathematica, Maxima, MuPAD and Maple) formats, gnuplot, C/Java syntax, HTML, MathML, LaTeX and LISP.... read more

The obsolete (0.7.2) version of formconv worked improperly with the newest Maxima and there were other problems with outputs. These problems have been fixed in the newest (0.7.2.1) version. The package 0.8.2-1 also contains these modifications (the obsolete/ subdirectory).
