ForLatin 0.4 (07/2011) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ForLatin is a Latin and English translation helper. ForLatin utilizes the dictionary program WORDS written by William Whitaker (users.erols.com/whitaker/words.htm). ForLatin is free, open source software copyrighted under the AGPL and can be modified and redistributed provided that all work based off of ForLatin remains under the same copyright. Notes on the standalone version ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The standalone Windows version of ForLatin uses Apache (www.apache.org) and PHP (www.php.net). Please be aware of there respective copyrights. The Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is also required and can be downloaded from www.microsoft.com. Once the framework is installed, then run the ForLatin installer again. If when ForLatin loads up, a blank page is displayed, try clicking the Refresh button, as slower computers may take more time to load up the web server. To run ForLain execute ForLatinStarter.exe. ForLatinStarter is a program that loads up a web server and runs a web browser to start ForLatin. This program can take two command line arguments. The first argument is the path to the program that should be executed after the web server is running. By default, ForLatinStarter attempts to run Internet Explorer, but any web browser can be used. The second argument is the port number. This is set to 7744 by default.
