This project was fun, but I had not enogh 3D background to perform it well. Now that I have more, I can see it's many flouds. You should not base your code on it, but still the design may be correct, the ruby / C++ mixing was a fun thing too !
The project has been implementing shadows for a few weeks now.We have tested shadow casting, now we're choosing shadow mapping.this development should be ended during the week end, then we will focus on something really fun !
Here is a video capture of a test program,
which allow you to see collisions and forklifter movements :

Right now, development is being focus on bots, which will havevery rudimentary IA (that is to evolute).
Forlifter project has just been created.
This project aims to offer (at least) a portable openGL game with forlift races.
The first version has been imported to svn repository.
This version aims to make available simple tools to make creation work easier, which are :
- a wavefront/mtl to cpp objects compiler
- an xml map to cpp compiler (map using cpp objects)
- test tool allowing to view compiled map/objects
As you can see, with those, you can generate maps
with your own objects.
There will be enhancement of those,
but basically, recruitment is to start.
