#7087 Download link failing with "file could not be found or is not available"

Hamish B

we produce a geo/mapping linux distribution based on ubuntu.

having a problem with some newly uploaded files, We uploaded the new release of our iso and it seems to have propogated to the mirrors ok. But when you click on a file to download (even a tiny .md5 file) it fails with a red error box in the top right of the browser:

The "/7.9/osgeo-live-7.9...geo-live-7.9.iso.md5" file could not be found or is not available. Please select another file.

We found that we could download by manually specifying a mirror on the URL and using wget, but via a browser the same link returns the above error.

on #sourceforge's IRC channel 'zeromuisa' wrote: "this seems to happen with some regularity for large files, usually immediately after business hours on friday"

but we've been seeing this for over 24 hours now.

more info in our ticket at https://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo/ticket/1318

thanks much,

As of 15 March 2300 UTC it now seems to be working. Will keep an eye on it to make sure it stays that way. :)

This indeed seems to just have been a delay in mirroring.
