No

My intention has been to have 'CrashMail II' as a subproject of the FTN Applications project. The subproject itself has been created but I cannot move the Crashmail II files from the main project down to it's own FRS area because the subdirectory is not available.

I was first going to move them using a shell login but thats when I found that the subproject FRS directory did not seem to be present (unlike, for instance, the one for the tinytic subproject). I then tried simply logging in via the web interface & doing it there, but attempting to either add a file or add a folder fails.

Was there perhaps some kind of problem with the creation of the 'Crashmail II' subproject? Just happened to be looking at my 'Active Projects' list and while the subproject TinyTIC is listed, the 'Crashmail II' one is not.

Hmm, it does indeed appear that the subproject wasn't created properly before, I think the best way to recover from this would be to take a backup of the subproject, have us remove it, then recreate it and reimport the backup. Note, we currently only support re-importing ticket backups, however it looks like that's all that's currently used by that subproject (and a git repo, but you'd just need to re-push the repo once it's set up again).

How does this sound to you?

    Thanks,

So I was correct in thinking that there is an issue with it.

    of the subproject,

There's not any actual content in the subproject yet...

    have us remove it,

It wouldn't work properly if I used the admin interface to remove

it? I've thought about that, since you confirmed that there was an
    issue with it.

And there aren't actually any tickets in there yet...

A full project (or subproject) deletion can only be done by SF staff, if you tried to remove it yourself, it would only result in a partial deactivation.

Let me know if that's how you'd like to proceed.

Yes, go ahead and remove the 'Crashmail II' subproject and let me
know how it goes; only thing in there now is the Code repository and
as you noted, I can just push that back up there after the subproject
    is recreated.

If that's successful, I'd like to then try re0adding it and then
checking the creation of the 'Files' section in the new version of the
    subproject.

the subproject is in the removal queue, let us know how this goes after you re-add the subproject.

I was able to successfully re-add the Crashmail II sub project. The files area in the new version of it was available like it should be and I had no problem moving the archive files to that new area. I think that resolves this issue.

Note that there seems to be a similar issue with the JamNNPTd sub project but I think I'll add a new ticket for that.
