No

The project name (Skim) is not updated on the sf.net project page for days after I changed it in the metedata admin section. On other sf.net pages it is correctly updated, just not on the main page.

Strange, I was seeing the same thing as you, but I just clicked "Save" on Admin -> Metadata, and it seems to have updated properly now.

    And it's gone back again.

It still seems to match to me. Can you point out to me what part isn't updated properly?

    Thanks,

The project name on the main project page wasn't just "Skim", but the longer old one containing the short summary in the name.

I reset it again by going to the metadata admin and hitting save, without actually editing anything. But I shouldn't have to do that every few days. Somehow it seems the pages are using cached metadata.

Hmm, we've observed this behavior of reverting data in other projects and have an open ticket on it here: [allura:tickets:#6288]

Let's keep an eye on your project for a little longer and see if this stabilizes, it looks like it hasn't reverted again since your last comment.

    Thanks,

    Greetings,

We've just pushed a change that we believe should fix this (or at least make it easier to diagnose), this change affects the way the data is saved to our servers. You will need to "resave" your changes for this to take affect.

Let us know if this helps!
