#3495 Tracker item numbers lost with change to "new SF".

With the upgrade to the "new Sourceforge", all bug numbers changed (unexpectedly) and the old URLs do no longer work. (The same holds for patches and enhancement requests.)

As we used the bug numbers in both, SVN commit messages and the Docutils HISTORY file, we need a "translation service" that finds the tracker etry when given the old numbers.

We provide a number of redirects and ways to find the old tickets.

    1. the old URL for the ticket is redirected to the new one
    2. using the old ID in the new ticket URL structure will redirect to the new ticket as well.
2.the old ID is indexed in search, so searching for the old ID will return the new location.

A caveat for 2 however is that this needs to be done in the tickets instance that contains that ticket (ie., a search for "bug" ticket won't be found if you're searching "feature-requests").

If you find those aren't working, can you provide some examples so we can investigate further?
