Hello SourceForge Team,

I'm not sure what to try next to resolve synchronizing the sourceforge web project page with latest pushed changes to the repository. I'm hoping you can help as I do not think I can resolve this problem on my own. Feels like may actually be an issue and not just my impatience over slow synchronizing because in the past have waited weeks/months for web page to update.

After a push from local repository to sourceforge.net/p/fbc repository:

  • Code Browser does not show latest commits: code
  • Viewing "Master" branch shows "Whoops, we can't find that page": master
  • Activity Feed / RSS does not update: feed

Viewing older branches or commits generally seems to work and the repository is up to date.

We saw this issue last year, but it seems to have sorted itself out after some amount, more than weeks later, but I don't know exact time:
For reference latest commits pushed as of submitting this ticket on 2026.03.29:
1d7d6e5bda714cdc99ac8847e1fbc17e467ab7b7

Commits pushed on 2026.03.22 one week ago have not yet synchronized to web views:
ad8b391b5efa3fb7770632c5af1bd7f3df4b482e

Commits pushed on 2025.10.18 have now synchronized and appear in the code browser:
ecad51f2e58deca93aef7fc6ecf9e97d627d433b

I have:

  • confirmed push was successful by fully re-cloning the repository and checking that the checked out repo has latest commits I had pushed
  • Tried waiting for a week for it to synchronize on it's own
  • Tried the "Refresh Repository" function a few times
  • Confirmed default branch is set to "master"
  • Also tried also pushing a separate "main" and setting default branch to "main"
  • Resave "master" as default branch

In the past, like last year, synchronization and delivery of email notifications after pushing commits was always quite quick, typically almost immediately and only occasionally after an hour or so.

Hoping you can help, I'm not sure what to try next.

Thanks,
Jeff
