Dear servicedesk,

The "Using SFTP with FileZilla" section, in the SourceForge SFTP manual, does not work, when 2FA (TOTP) is enabled.

I created a howto:
Upload files to Sourceforge using Filezilla SFTP Client with 2FA (TOTP)

I hope this helps The Forge!
Kind regards, Odie

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out.

In Filezilla, make sure to choose the Interactive logon type when creating a new server connection for 2FA (see attachment).

    Sincerely,
    SourceForge Support

    Hello Support,

Thanks for pointing out the [menu File\Site Manager] panel.

The attached screendump isn't entirely correct. When using the following entry:

    • host = frs.sourceforge.net

    instead of:

    • host = frs.sourceforge.net/home/frs/project/${UrlProjectName}/

you'll end up in the "/home/users/{FirstCharOfUserName}/{FirstAndSecondCharOfUserName}/{UserName}/" folder, in my case, the "/home/users/o/od/odiep/" folder. You'll only see the following files:

    .bash_logout
    .bash_profile
    .bashrc
    .zshrc

    There's noting to do there.

May The Forge be with you!

    Kind regards, Odie
