After some recent SourceForge website update it has forced me on the metadata page to change the "Twitter Handle" to "X Handle" but this now generates a bad link.
On a project that we haven't updated the metadata yet it is still correct from before:
uez project's setting:
https://twitter.com/teamfdi
-> https://sourceforge.net/projects/uez/ -> Generates the following link: https://x.com/intent/follow?screen_name=teamfdi (correct)
But on the other project when I change it I now get this:
surg project's setting:
https://x.com/teamfdi
-> https://sourceforge.net/projects/fdi-surg/ -> Generates the following link: https://x.com/intent/follow?screen_name=httpsxcomteamfdi (wrong)
When I try to set just the handle name, SourceForge won't let me save the change. (see the attached error message)
Am I trying to input the name wrong or is this a bug?
Thanks,
Bill
