#25534 Web caching isnr retrieving .htaccess files in time
This has happened before. and this will happen again.I've opened previous tickets on this
I have valid .htaccess files in all my public web directories. But the webserver can't get to them in time, so it denies access to public webpages in that directory. (as opposed to just timing out on loading the webpage)
A real fix to this intermittent problem would require a rearchitecture of the serving and caching infrastructure, I think.
here's a good example of the server failing intermittently. it loads a webpage, but fails to load the content of an <iframe> in a subdirectory because it can't access the .htaccess file.</p></iframe>
Also getting 503 Service Unavailable errors on loading these personal sourceforge pages.
