#25219 "Transport endpoint is not connected" when trying to access FRS links in shell

I use the links under /home/frs/project, in addition to SCP, to upload binaries for new releases of my projects. Currently all of those links produce an error ("Transport endpoint is not connected") when I try to access them either through an interactive SSH session or SCP.
