I'm creator, maintainer of the VIMINAL network lab livecd collection (medi6-lab, mobidik-lab and vodka lab) hosted on Sourceforge for years. ISO files, MD5 checksum and lab instruction sheet files are now unavailable for download. The project is no longer visible. URL like "https://sourceforge.net/projects/viminal/files/medi6-lab/viminal-medi6-v2.0-r20181025.iso/download" returns on Sourceforge Open Source LiveCD distro (https://sourceforge.net/directory/live-cd/) where VIMINAL is not listed. What the problem with that project ?
The 2023-2024 academic period is starting soon, where I have to share download links with my students. During the period period ended in June, there were no download problems. Are there any guidelines for restoring these VIMINAL resources ?
regards.
Hello,
Your project was removed during an effort to clean up projects using large file storage, having little or no downloads, and no source code evident.
We restored the original project for you.
After its been restored, we'll let you know and you should post source code or links to the source code. Additionally if you can reduce your file sizes that would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
SourceForge Support
OK, I removed the hybrid (BIOS / UEFI) Multiboot USB Key image files (around 24GB) , which seemed not being heavily downloaded.
I pushed latest Gentoo catalyst spec files and fs-script used to generate guest rootfs and livecd images.
Regards.
