Hi,

  1. after the Allura migration a lot of links are formatted incorrectly and cannot be used directly. The problem is that for some reason they contain a newline, e.g. on the following page:
    https://sourceforge.net/p/freefilesync/discussion/847542/thread/67088c39

    668)

The problem is that a newline was introduced after "3800" and before the "668".

  1. Comments of the form
    > both test directories read-only and v5.0 also presens the lag...
This is very strange, do you have a log for this?

are ill-formatted due to misinterpretion by the new mark-down syntax.
e.g. take this one:
https://sourceforge.net/p/freefilesync/discussion/847543/thread/81f99ccc/#c851

Is it possible to add a newline after the ">" for all comments before the allura migration that were not aware of those new rules - these are a lot in my project?

Alterative to fixing these bugs: Please provide some API for project owners to access and edit comments/tickets in batches. This would allow to at least provide a solution at all to those and other migration struggles and those who are willing to go this extra mile could help themselves.

Regards, Zenju

We already have the change that essentially disables markdown for migrated posts, though this only applies to projects that upgraded after that change was made.

I'm requesting that we add a discussion endpoint for the Allura API here: [allura:tickets:#5650]

This API looks exactly like what I need, I can't wait to get my hands dirty on this once the discussion endpoint is added! Also this will solve a number of smaller migration issues I have with regards to URL migration.
