No

I want to take ownership of this project. Jdec is (was) developed by two programmers. One of them is also the project owner (administrator). I tried to contact both developers during the last couple of weeks. None of them responded to my e-mail messages. I know that the takeover process takes about 3 months. I hope they will answer sooner.

Can you mention my email when you try to contact them?

Regards,
Mihai

    Greetings,

I'm reaching out to the project admins, and if we get a positive response, I'll proceed with this takeover. Please note however that we're currently in discussion with our legal team on changes to what we can do if we do not get a response. As such, if we don't hear back from the project admins, we will not be able to continue with this request until we hear a final decision from our legal team.

    I'll keep you posted.

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for the heads-up regarding the ownership transition. I'm surprised that the legal team must be involved, but I understand the importance of a legal point of view.

    Best wishes,
    Mihai Vrinceanu

    Hi Chris,

Over 3 months have passed since I requested the change in ownership and things seem stuck. Considering the license is GPLv2, I think the best decision is to fork the source code. This way I can improve the decompiler without impacting this project.

    Greetings,

I'm working on a new process for project takeovers, but since you've been waiting on this for a considerable time already anyway, and we never heard back from the project admins, I've gone ahead and added you to the project as admin.
