Some of my users have experienced difficulty downloading some files from my sourceforge site.
I have also experienced it myself, although it seems temporary or intermittent.
Here is an example post from one user:
It is a little chance to install any of the os, and literally no chance to install more than one os in a single installation (including the ProjectSpace).
Example of an error:
Error downloading meta file http://deac-riga.dl.sourceforge.net/project/pinn/os/raspios64/marketing.tar
Error downloading meta file http://deac-riga.dl.sourceforge.net/project/pinn/os/raspios64/os.json
Error downloading meta file http://deac-riga.dl.sourceforge.net/project/pinn/os/ProjectSpace/os.jsonLooks like no access to these files.
The interesting thing is that when I experienced it, it was also from the deac-riga mirror.
Could there be a problem with the hosting of my files on that mirror?
These files are downloaded programmatically so there is no chance for the user to select which mirror to use.
I'm also having intermittent trouble with large files taking a long time to download and even stopping mid transfer, but I can't tell which mirror they are being served from.

Hi,
Thank you for letting us know.
I have escalated this to our DevOps team to investigate further.

Hello,
We have removed the mirror reported from our rotation.
Our advice would be to link to our File Release System's link: https://sourceforge.net/projects/voipmonitor/files/wkhtml/phantomjs-2.1.1-x86_64.gz/download
That way, if a mirror is having issues, it will sort itself out of it.
Sincerely,

Thank you. I will monitor if it is any better.
I DO link to the mirror system, but I use for example:
https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/pinn/os/AIYprojects/os.json
instead of
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pinn/files/os/AIYprojects/os.json/download
I assume that points to the same file, but has the advantage of maintaining the filename.
The URLs given above were the final ones after redirection to see if there was a pattern.
