  I am custom rom developer. Working for device Xiaomi Redmi 5 (rosy). I am
  trying to install wordpress on project web. So that I can explain my users
  about latest things going around my development. I do upload my ROM builds
  to this project. So thoght of using web service for blogs. But its showing
  write permission isssues on file uploads. Please help me out. Using
  wordpress here would be very useful for me and my users. Please help out. I
  know wiki service is available but wordpress would be a little better for
  me. So please guide me. So that I can reach at some point

Yes I did try this but this is not working.
I am facing serveral issues which simply makes wordpress unusable for me. Some more helps would be nice ;-)

What is the specific error message you are getting? And what are you trying to do when that error happens?

hello, so basically i hosted wordpress on my projects web services used MySQL from Sourceforge too. But i am getting serveral issues there.

When i upload a file from WordPress upload portal. it says failed coz cannot move the file in the directory.

Cannot change the theme of my WordPress site. like even after uploading a additional theme via scp. also it doesn't show up anything from wordpress store some error like loading failure appears.

Also i cannot wget anything on webservice. Or like i made changes to one of my website amd thought to push it on github but i relized its not possible.

these are the issues i faced. maybe there will some more issues but for now its all.

if i could get some help with it then i would be bery grateful of Sourceforge support

Please provide us with the specific error message you're receiving.

For your other concern, we limit all outbound network activity so that is expected behavior.

hello, Thanks for continued help

Basically when I upload a files from wordpress admin it says

"The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2019/10."

And when I try to access wordpress store I get this

"An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums."

It seems some things I cannot understand

It seems like you need to change the filesystem permissions on that directory for the upload to work, you can reference the following link: https://sourceforge.net/p/forge/documentation/Project%20Web%20Filesystem%20Permissions/

Webservers have outbound network access restricted, so trying to install a plugin or theme that way will not work. It would have to be uploaded and installed manually with sftp.
