Do you want to show off your JavaFX skills? Are you looking for a project that will provide you an opportunity to show those skills?
The eBus project (https://sourceforge.net/projects/ebus/) needs someone to either improve its existing demo user interface or replace it with something better. eBus is a messaging API so there is nothing to see. But it is a natural back-end to a user interface. So a demo, JavaFX-based user interface was created to show how the eBus API works.
But this user interface is simplistic and not-too-good. That's where you come in. The eBus project wants to improve the appearance and performance of this interface. While the basic user interface concept remains the same the appearance and functionality can be greatly improved. There is no limit to what can be done. Third party, open source JavaFX controls may be used (as long as the license is compatible with eBus). For example Gluon's ControlFX may be used.
If you are interested please respond either via SourceForge to cwrapp or rapp@acm.org. Please provide a brief summary of your JavaFX experience and links to JavaFX work you have done (if possible).
I look forward to hearing from anyone interested in this project.

The current eBus user interface code is available at https://sourceforge.net/p/ebus/eguicontrol/ci/develop/tree/ and https://sourceforge.net/p/ebus/egui/ci/develop/tree/. And you can download the existing demo user interface from https://sourceforge.net/projects/ebus/files/eBus%205.5.0/Tools/.
