The marching drill desing software market needs your help! The current options in software are too buggy, costly, and hard to use to be justified in the current day. With a problem identified I set out to solve it on my own. But thus, I cannot do it alone; this project is too complex for my own knowledge. So I turn to those programmers who have a passion for the marching arts and wish to make the world a better place for show designers and drill writers everywhere (or just like to program stuff) to help me forge on.

The goal of Full Stride Drill Desing is to make designing drill more accessible, convenient, and integrated. Drill design should be an easy and artistic process for everyone and everyone involved with the design process will benefit from this easy-to-use, flexible, and collaborative software.

I intend to create a service with the following features:
- Web-based
- 2D Editor
- 3D Veiwer
- Tool Scripting
- Cloud Saving and Sharing
- Collobarative Services
- Chart, Coordinate, Book, and Video Export

At this stage help with the structure of the software is needed as I am quite inexperienced at building large applications. I am also not 100% on the design, mainly the viability of devoloping a cloud integrated service (potetialy as a payed service, for running costs) with the open source model. I feel that both of those features are important to making the software fullfil its pourpose. I am currently using p5.js as a 2D library and intend to use Unity for the 3D part of the program. All help is appreciated, even advice or suggestions. You may also chose to tell me I'm crazy.

More infomationn and screenshots of current progress can be found on its sourceforge page: https://sourceforge.net/projects/full-stride-drill-designer/

If you want to offer help or a suggestions let me know by sending me a message through Sourceforge or by emailing me at tilatrivia@gmail.com.

Thank you,
Truman (tilatrivia)
