We are currently seeking a PHP5 developer with a background in website design, including CSS/XHTML/Java etc to help develop a veterinary clinic practice management platform. This position will complement the work being done by our database engineers at this time to create an attractive front-end application for our end-users. Candidates should have experience producing attractive and functional websites or web applications. Strong teamwork and self-starting are important traits for this position. Because of the nature of the project, the work will be done remotely.
Compensation is not provided as this is an open-source application and therefore is provided at no cost to our end users. However, profit sharing may be available when we begin to monetize for support and implementation--the application itself is free to download. This would make an excellent side project for an individual who is looking to work with a start-up company and become part of an up-and-coming software development team but who already has employment in the field.
