searching java projects to participate

Hi, my name is nathan and i want a project to learn more and give experience on programing.

I know java-basic, xml, php-basic, html, css, javascript e and c-basic. If all one knows a project please tell me.

I have quit a few project I have not touched in a while.. The problem would be in picking one and then deciding what to do next.
