My Name is Mike from PA, USA. I'm looking to join a C++ Project.

I am not an expert in C++ by no means. I wish to join a small, or to be honest any size project I can to learn and grow in. Learning more of the language, concepts, algorithms and joining the OS community. I do not mind if I am just part of building/designing algorithms or even just basic stuff.
I learned most of my knowledge from studying Java. While I have not written in the language for a while it is where I learned most of my core OO concepts. I also know a nice portion of SQL as I have written some basic middleware before. I also have done some R before, usually for Matrix work.
Some hobbies/interests I have; Musician(guitar) for a few years, interest in Mathematics(Applied and somewhat pure, usually in calc stuff, big into some Linear Algebra topics) as well as anything related to servers and virtualization.
I currently work IT for a hospital, and I am a huge team player. I am easy to work with and seriously love learning. Willing to learn and self study more!

I am working on a text-based 'flight simulator' game, in which I have a lot of realistic physics to program. It's in C, not C++, but it wants a lot of mathematical modeling that I haven't yet figured out. Would you be interested to help? Reply to me at shardul.chiplunkar AT gmail DOT com. Thanks!
Lynkeos is an astronomical image processing software, which relies on mathematical processing (Fourier transform, correlation, wavelets, a bit of information theory ...).
Planned developments include automatic scaling and rotation between images (currently under development, it uses some basic linear algebra), use of mutual information to optimize alignment between images, interpolation of image transform across the frame, to overcome atmospheric turbulence.
It is developed in C and Objective-C, not C++.
