    Hi @Mugsy,

    I believe the hierarchy is:

    • Discussion
    • Forum
    • Topic
    • Posts

Do you mean you want the ability for Topic retitle (rename) and delete? If so, I would vote for this.

Correct. Presently, there is no way for the author of a post to change the subjuct if they made a mistake after posting or it no longer applies, or delete a post if it goes wildly off-topic. :(

    Hi @Mugsy,

I stumbled on one way to delete a thread by accident. You have to be assigned moderation authorization by the project admin, Then, click the "hand" icon in the upper right of a thread. This brings up the Moderate options. There's a red "Delete Thread" button.

This still doesn't solve the problem where you can't edit the topic subject though. And deleting a post appears to only be possible by the project admin or designated moderator(s). Your request is to allow the threadauthor to have these capabilities, which is still a feature worth voting for.

It would be interesting to give authors and moderators the functionality to change Topic subjects (titles). Authors not always write the most descriptive titles (e.g. "please, help!"). Then, it is hard for users to search throught previous posts for finding an already proposed solution for their problem.

Maybe we should upvote #164 Modify the title of a forum thread. I think this post now is a duplicate of #164.

    Thanks, Ismael. I've upvoted #164.
