#463 Create Ticket GUI should allow adding images from different folders

No

When FIRST creating A ticket, only ONE opportunity is given to upload images / files. Multiple files can ONLY be selected to upload at once, IF they are in SAME local folder - forcing users to move ANY / ALL files to be uploaded, to the SAME local folder (waste of time); instead of being able to upload one file, then browse to a different local folder & upload another image.

This is the way most forums / bug trackers' uploading images work. Can upload one image from C:\images; then upload another from E:\images2. Most ALSO display an "attach / upload another file," after adding the 1st image. SF's GUI does not.

Also, uploaded images don't display in "preview." The create ticket GUI has no way to delete uploaded images, after ticket is saved / submitted. If wrong image was uploaded, NO way to delete it. Need to be able to either / and / or:

see uploaded image displayed in preview mode, before ticket is saved;
once ticket is saved, provide method to delete incorrect images & replace them.

Your first point is already covered in the ticket submitted for the multiple attachment UI improvements: [allura:tickets:#6575]

I've logged a new ticket for image previews for attachments here: [allura:tickets:#6625]

Thanks. Are you sure your comment, "It would help to make sure the
correct images were selected before posting.," is clear enough for hasty
programmers to understand the real issue?

    Chris,
Attached is screen of "Preview Mode" showing attached files / images, on
Neowin.net forums. You could add this to the ticket for showing
    attachments in preview mode.

This is the MOST common behavior, though a few sites don't show
attachments until submit the post. BUT on those, you can edit / remove
the attachments, or any part of (first) post, AFTER submitting it - at
least w/in a certain time period (say, an hr). Some allow editing YOUR
    posts anytime.

"Convention" is to add "EDIT:" or "EDITED 8/31/13" preceding any edited
text, then "END OF EDIT," after finished.

    Hello,
Durning a ticket review process I saw this ticket, so I apologize for the delay in my reply to this ticket. This seem more like a feature request to me than a support issue. I've move this over to the feature request area and out of the support queue.
    Thanks
