I would like to be able to hide a comment rather than delete it with an option on the page view to show hidden comments given appropriate privileges. The use purpose is for historical documentation of past comments which allows for precedence of more current comments.

Scenario: A ticket is open to document tasks to do. Each comment is a task. Once the task is completed the comment would be hidden.

I know the argument will be that I could create a ticket tool instance to control each todo as an issue. My comeback to that is that it causes too much complexity in project control in that I have several source code repositories and I don't want to have to create a tool instance for each repository just to control the actions. We have moved to one ticket instance with enough control in that instance to be able to control many repository tickets. We do not want to have control differing instances of issues within the project.

This issues Category is set to Other/Misc because I can see this being used in multiple tool sets. Each tool providing comments should have a method to hide the comment from default view.
