The program crashes when i try to import the base cloud or any cloud point in .txt format (X,YZ,Int). I have this error message : "Runtin Error! This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

I would like to know how I proceed to measure the length and the width of the crown when I only import a points cloud of leaf.

Hi, go to Crown menu -> Set manual and just save it as crown, than you will be able use functions in crown menu, crown lenght and width are computed automatically after saving crown.

Hi, Thank you for suggestion, but It's still not working. I think the problem is due to the choice i make during importing leaf points cloud. What choice should I make during the import? "Import base cloud", Import vegetation cloud" or Import tree cloud".

HI it can be problem of duplicate points in cloud. so try to remove
the dulicate points using "other features ->remove duplicvate points"
or voxelize cloud of tree "other features ->voxelize cloud" and use
resolution about 1 or 2 cm. using voxelization you need to change
the cloud type after voxelization it is saved and other cloud and not
tree. so remove from project, do NOT delete file, move file from
project folder, save it in another directory and import it as tree.
It should work now.

I can not import the data. The program does not load and close, without any warning. I try to import the base cloud point in .pts format and it has about 6GB. Does the software support a cloud of this size?

The program close when I import las file or sample data

Hi, I believe that problem is in data format, recent version uses as separator only space not comas. Ttry to replace comas and import aggain.

Yes, you need to import cloud as Tree cloud (see user guide https://sourceforge.net/projects/forest3d/files/3DFOREST_app_64bit/3D_Forest_User_Guide_041.pdf/download).

Hi, It is not possible to export tree and crown attributes into a single txt file?
It isn't, but you can join both of them easily in excel etc.

Hi, what is the size and version of las file?
There is a problem with storing large files in .pcd format, larger than about 3GB.
