      Hi Steve,

I assume from the wxPyDeprecationWarning that you are running a version of wxpython above 2.8 and I would wait a day or two so that I can update Sourceforge with a new version of fs2-equaliser.

However to the meat of it.

In /home/yourlogin/.config/pulse/ you should have the following files:

      Bass.pre
      Bass-Treble.pre
      cookie
      debug_equaliser.txt
      Default2.pre
      default.pa
      Default.pre
      Flat.pre
      fs2eq.cfg
      Headphones2.pre
      Headphones.pre
      Live-Bass.pre
      Live.pre
      Muffled_Man.pre
      Telephone.pre
      Telephone_with_echo2.pre
      Telephone_with_echo.pre
      Treble.pre
      Welly.pre
      Winamp_laptop.pre
      Winamp_soft.pre

I'm assuming that something went wrong with your installation.

Ensure that you are running pulseaudio and that you do have a /home/yourlogin/.config/pulse/ directory and copy the .pre and .pa and .cfg files from the /usr/share/fs2-equaliser directory into it.

Note that in /usr/share/fs2-equaliser there are both pdf and html files which provide installation notes and instructions on fs2-equaliser.

Short of that, I'd rerun the installation using the gdebi tool.

If you still have issues, let me know but also let me know which Linux you are running, the version of python and the version of wxpython.

      regards

      Rolf

    Steve
just checked the code, in /home/yourlogin/.config/pulse/
    rename default.pa to old_default.pa and start fs2_equaliser
It will copy the required files in there for you and create a new
default.pa file with the appropriate modifications for the equaliser.
If you have made some special modifications to the pulseaudio default.pa
file of your own, you may want to check the new file versus the old one
    and adjust accordingly.
