Doesn't look very appealing this "other" elk-page. What happens with Sam? Is he still not responding?

Another question: what is your feeling about the alsa sound drivers. This should be the real standard for Linux now, isn't it? Probably we should think in how to migrate; What do you think? You, Martin, told me that libsndfile does not work with the alsa drivers. That could be an inconvenient, but probably there is some other solution. CCRMA uses exclusively alsa, and they probably have to deal with several soundfile formats.

I am currently in Paris, rather busy that might serve as a good excuse for my little interaction. I'll be back to Madrid at the end of next week. But I can read the mail here.
