Hi! Warning: This is half off-topic. I have since long been writing free software programs, and published them on Freshmeat. Lately, I have been working on a font (Of course using FontForge, thus posting to this list to begin with :), and it's now finished, and I'm working on a bold version of the same font (don't know if I'll ever make an italic and italic bold... Not sure how that should look yet :). Anyway, as I wrote, I've allways published my software on freshmeat, and licensed it under the GPL (or LGPL depending on the type of software). But I have no idea where people usually publish free fonts, and what licenses they use (so that fonts can be modified, combined, distributed, and also so that they can be used in any document without the document itself being bound by the license)? Thanks in advance, Egil Möller P.S. If anyone's interrested, my font is intended for headings, labels and the like, not for a larger text body. It is inspired by Celtic knot-patterns and the easthetics of the gothic sub-culture... -- Konsulent, Fri Programvare / Free Software Consultant Cell: +47 - 91 17 05 93 Phone: +47 - 21 53 69 00, Fax: +47 - 21 53 69 09 Addr: Slemdalsveien 70, PB 1 Vinderen, 0319 Oslo <http://www.freecode.no/> Free beer costs nothing, freedom costs a fight.
