[fontforge-users] FW: behavior of encoding slots

Hello FontForge people,

 

Creating shapes or glyphs in encoding slots with title boxes displaying
regular glyphs such as o, q and ÷ will work properly to produce fonts that
will appear in documents. However encoding slots with empty title boxes,
with squares containing 4 ovals, and encoding slots that are newly generated
(which will have a  question mark in the title box) will not work properly
to produce fonts in documents. What do you need to do differently for these
other slots to work.
