#28 Linux Progress Patch

The Linux Progress Patch is a great patch--it
replaces the usual scrolling bootup text with a
graphical representation of what is happening on
bootup. See its homepage at http://lpp.freelords.org.
Alas, the author doesn't use it, and so it won't work
without help past 2.4.2. However, the author (Cajus
Pollmeier) recently made a patch available for 2.4.9 at
http://lug.mfh-iserlohn.de/polle/downloads/lpp-2.4.9.bz2.
Is anyone else interested in this?
