It would benefit very much if it didn't forcibly on the magnetic hard drives. If the drive offed for passivity, then it sure won't change the file sizes – it's off. Maybe the Foldersizer should wait until other program turns it on and changes it. But the Foldersize turns it on constanly and checks something very intensively. I checked i guess, when stopping this service, the disks again can power down and emit no vibration after a few minutes.

Other than that, i think the Foldersizer checks the disks too actively all times, much more data is screeching the heads than to just learn a few sizes that have been updated. But that's i know may be O. S. difficulties....
