Ok - so the first full checkin of the UI redesign has been commited (r490 for those of you keeping score at home). If you've updated recently, you'll have been enticed by the very pretty login page, but then reminded of the white-horridness that was FOF. This is no more. This revision covers all the major aspects of the UI change, and basic functionality of FoFRedux still exists. Nothing in the "engine" was changed, so there is no expected danger to your database with this upgrade. But as with any dev version, YMMV, Author not responsible for lost data, run this at your own risk, always use protection (i.e. run on a test DB) The next big steps are to 1) hopefully have Walker or Khaled get the current version and tweak up a couple of layout/colors that I couldn't get quite right. Some buttons are out of place (or could use pretty image buttons) and some of the FamFam silk icons need their color-shifted to match Khaled's original design. 2) Add the Prototype.js Javascript library and start tying in Asyncronous functionality 3) Clean up the "view" break-out some more. This UI change tried to change as little as possible along the way, but small steps were made, like making view/feed_item.php which is a single view of a feed (imagine that). This would be nice to break out for more elements and forms 4) Feeds are not grouped by category on the front page (they're all animation) so will need to sort feeds and break them up by category listing. Let me know if you have any major problems. There are many small bugs that I'm sure exist that will get corrected as the above 4 actions are finished. Thanks everyone!
