The only operations remaining on the init.php restructuring are:
* item add/remove tag
* item search

The first one is trivial.  I just didn't get to it yes

The second one is a horrible beast and I see much change in it's 
future.  I plan on implementing the bare minimum in order to match the 
current functionality, then we can play with making it more elegant 
later on.
