The vendor directory works the same as the CVS vendor branch.  You 
initially import new third party releases into the vendor branch, then 
merge into the main fofredux code directory.  /fofredux/trunk will be 
the main "project" directory. (equivalent to CVS HEAD branch for the 
fofredux module)
