This might be a good > candidate for a plugin. I don't imagine everyone will use it. However, there is a big push in the GIS (Geographic Info Systems) to use GeoRSS. There currently are *no* GeoRSS capable readers/aggregators. So, this would be a big way to get lots of users/visibility, plus just being a 'neat' factor. It's definitely a good example of a plugin. You/Katie can talk about what kind of hooks to the API we would expose for a plugin.
