Just updated via cvs and it appears this is fixed.

I clicked on "View New Items" with the option set to show 10 items per
page. I have 17 new items currently. It showed 10 items on the first
page and then 7 on the next one.

Then I tried it with 5 items per page with 24 new items and it showed
5 items per page until it got to the last page. Then it showed the
last four items.
