I tag'd & bundled & uploaded the v0.4 release candidate, hot off the repository. If you have a chance, please grab it and give it a try. http://fofredux.sourceforge.net/snapshots/fofredux_RC-0_4.tgz and Miles, no this doesn't include the updated panel/full view yet. I didn't want to hold off the release any longer. I will look at that today/this weekend and if I get something may update the RC. :) Thanks! I've downloaded it and will check it out this weekend. One thing I noticed right away was that we need a separator in the frames view for new and total articles. Right now it looks kinda odd. It shows the feed name and then 30 30. When I first looked at this I thought there was 3030 articles, not 30 unread and 30 total. Making it so there is a / between then would help. So then it would show 30/30. > http://fofredux.sourceforge.net/snapshots/fofredux_RC-0_4.tgz > > and Miles, no this doesn't include the updated panel/full view yet. I can start inputting bugs for what I find, but I was not sure how thorough we wanted to be. -Miles |

well, there are bugs that need to be fixed - so go ahead and report/file them. For 0.4 we'll probably only fix large, functional errors and leave UI bugs to further updates on splitting up the templates that I believe Kevin is doing. I'm cleaning up and feed list in the framed view to also display lists of categories, tags, and flags. They will all have the same unread/total counts as the feeds list does. I'm contemplating how to best to integrate the full view back into it. What if the the Feeds/Category/Tags/Flag links at the top left also toggled the left frame in and out of view? -Kevin |

Do you mean the replacement for panel view from 0.3? Personally, I can't stand frames in any manner, even if you can move them out of the way. If I am understanding this, you would have to click on a link to remove the frames every time you wanted to be in panel view. So you would be clicking it to display and not display as you wanted to check individual feeds. This sounds like it would get really tedious. Could we just have a layout as close to how the panel view look like in 0.3, in 0.4? I really prefer that and for people who do not like the frames view it would be a good alternative. -Miles |
