It seems to me that the ability to put a feed in multiple
categories would be the very useful. That way, it could work
like a tagging system, with any category serving as a
subcategory of any other.

For example if I had all my boston feeds categorized as
'boston'. And some of those boston feeds were also
categorized as 'blog', then I could quickly find all
'boston'- 'blog' feeds. If, however, I wanted to find feeds
categorized as 'blog' that were also categorized as
'technology', a non-hierarchical system (like tagging) would
allow me to quickly find all 'technology'-'blog' feeds.

The present system, with one category for each feed is very
limiting. A tagging system would be preferable. However,
keeping the name 'category' could differentiate from the
'tagging' of individual feed items.

Just a thought... perhaps feed categories could be derived
from the tags of the items within. All the better.
